The election manifesto of the Tamil National Alliance will be released today at 3pm at Uduvil, Jaffna, under the patronage of TNA leader R. Sampanthan.

 

Leaders of constituent parties of the TNA including Mavai Senathirajah of ITAK, Selvan Adaikalanathan of TELO and Suresh Premachandran of EPRLF are expected at the event along with other leading members of the TNA.

 

The manifesto will focus on the national question, resettlement of internally displaced people, the question of the missing, the issue of political prisoners, withdrawal of the army from the north and development of the north and the east.

 

The TNA contests the election in all electoral districts in the north and east. It expects to win 20 seats, former TNA MP M.A. Sumanthiran said recently.
