Close on the heels of the arrest of an LTTE militant in Ramanathapuram district, one more alleged member of the banned outfit has been held near the airport in Tiruchirappalli  today (26).

 

The LTTE militant Kumaraguru was arrested along with two locals who were allegedly assisting him in getting a fake passport. He was arrested when he was planning to go back to Sri Lanka, Tiruchirappali Police told.

 

Police, who raided the house where he was staying on a tip-off, said Kumaraguru's friends Mohammed Ali and Tirumurugan who were helping him to get the fake passport were also arrested.
