The Police has discovered the car used in the shooting which killed notorious underworld kingpin 'Ukkuwa' from Hungama Ethbatuva area.
Jayaweera Patabendige Indika Nilusha alias Ukkuwa was killed by an unidentified group of people in Tangalle on July 26.
On June 6, 2014, Ukkuwa was arrested for his alleged involvement in connection with the murder of a bus conductor at the Tangalle bus station. The murder of the bus conductor ook place on June 4, 2014.
Ukkuwa was to report to Tangalle hospital every week. The murder had taken place while he was returning from the police station.
