Minister Palani Digambaran stated today that the UPFA manifesto has not offered any relief to the estate worker community and other minorities.

 

Speaking at a meeting in Castlereagh, he added that the United National Front has promised to solve the problems of estate workers, including their salary issues.

 

Furthermore, Digambaran said that former President Mahinda Rajapaksa was conducting an election campaign based on racism. He was once defeated in January and will be defeated in August, Digambaran said.

 

Digambaran also said that the UNF will win the election with 117 seats.
