Kurunegala District UPFA candidate Shantha Bandara has decided to resign as Deputy Minister of Mass Media.

Bandara, the Chairman of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party youth wing, is among several SLFP members who were considering to resign from their posts after the special statement by President Maithripala Sirisena on July 14.
