The office of the Director General for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries in Brussels has expressed interest in sending a technical evaluation mission to Sri Lanka in October to assess the ban imposed by the European Union on the export of Sri Lanka's fishery products.
The Technical Evaluation Team will be visiting Sri Lanka from the 5th to the 9th of October, the spokesperson of the Foreign Affairs Ministry, Mahishini Colonne said Thursday at a press briefing.
