Sri Lanka T20 captain Lasith Malinga on August 01 stated that he was ready to take the full responsibility for one wicket loss of his side to Pakistan in second T20 match held at R. Premadasa Stadium.

Speaking at the post match interview Malinga further told that it was him who took the decision to try new players. Even though he could not bowl well for the team, he is extremely happy about his decision of taking young blood in to the team, Malinga said.  He also said that the young players showed that there will be a good future for SL cricket

“I will train hard in next few months. If I do not get back the rhythm I will have to take a call on my future,” he stated.
