A five member team of the Presidential Commission of Inquiry to Investigate and Inquire into Serious Acts of Fraud, Corruption and Abuse of Power, State Resources and Privileges (PRECIFAC) was dispatched today to inspect the MV Avant Garde ship in Galle.

This inspection is carried out as part of the PRECIFAC investigation into the Rakna Araksha Lanka Limited. The warrant for the purpose was obtained from the IGP.

The PRECIFAC team will conduct a survey on the weapons in the floating armory.
