A 34-year-old mother was arrested following the death of a 14-day-old baby girl at Castle Hospital in Borella yesterday, Police said.

The 34-year-old woman was admitted to the hospital a few days ago with her child to receive medical treatment for fever.

The mother was remanded after being produced before the Magistrate by Borella Police.
