Colombo Chief Magistrate Gihan Pilapitiya today ordered the Durdans Hospital in Colpetty to file a medical report on former Ceylinco Chairman Lalith Kotelawala's wife Cecile Kotelawala.

This order was given when the case pertaining to Ceylinco F&G Property Developers was taken up for hearing today.

The case will be heard again on Monday. Kotelawala was ordered to be kept under CID custody until that day.

Cecile Kotelawala, who had been absconding the courts since late 2008, was arrested upon her arrival to the island yesterday. She was admitted to the Durdans Hospital after she claimed that her health condition was poor.
