An army intelligence officer who was arrested over the disappearance of journalist Prageeth Eknaligoda was remanded till February 9 by the Homagama Additional Magistrate today.

He was also serving in the Giritale Army Camp and is said to be a resident of Kekirawa.

The Magisterial Inquiry into the disappearance of Prageeth Eknaligoda is scheduled to be taken up on February 9.
