The 'Good Governance Government' has once again increased the prices of cigarettes.

Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake said that the price of a cigarette is increased by Rs 7 with effect from midnight yesterday.

There was a huge shortage of cigarettes reported from the market during the last few days.
