Controversial Pakistan opener Ahmed Shehzad has today evaded all queries relating to his alleged religious comments made towards veteran Sri Lankan batsman Tillakaratne Dilshan.
The 22-year-old Shehzad arrived with the Lahore Lions squad in Delhi this afternoon to play in the Champions League T20.
Indian media reports that he was questioned on his comments by some media persons as he came out of the International terminal. However the young batsman chose to completely ignore their queries. Meanwhile, one of their officials had told the media not to hound Shehzad.
The PCB chief Shahryar Khan has already termed Shehzad's comments to be "stupid." However, Sri Lankan authorities and players have chosen not to press on the matter.
Interestingly, Shehzad's Lahore Lions will take on Sri Lanka's Southern Express which consists of Dilshan.
