The remains of the late veteran artist, Jackson Anthony, were brought to his residence, marking the beginning of the final journey to bid farewell to this beloved figure in Sri Lankan cinema and the arts.

The funeral arrangements for Jackson Anthony have been announced, with his funeral scheduled for Thursday, October 12th, 2023. The public will have the opportunity to pay their last respects during the period leading up to the funeral.

The public viewing of Jackson Anthony's remains will take place at "Jayaratne Respect Home," located in Colombo 08 at Bauddaloka Mawatha, starting from 7.30 am to 11 pm on Wednesday, October 11th.

On both Wednesday, October 11th, and Thursday, October 12th, the remains of the late artist will lie at 90/A, 58 Vanigasuriyawatta, Ragama Road, Kadawatha, providing another opportunity for friends, family, and admirers to pay their respects.

The final farewell and funeral service for Jackson Anthony will be held on Thursday evening, October 12th, at St. Peter and Paul Church, Ragama.
