The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has deployed two teams to apprehend former Minister of State Diana Gamage.She was not found at her residence.

This action follows a court order naming Diana Gamage as a suspect in a case involving the acquisition of a passport using false information. Colombo Chief Magistrate Thilina Gamage issued the order after the CID presented their evidence. The judge has instructed the CID to take immediate steps regarding the suspect and to provide regular progress updates to the court.
