Representatives of university non-academic trade unions, currently engaged in an indefinite strike, are set to meet Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa today at the Parliamentary complex.
The meeting aims to address ongoing concerns over salary cuts and allowances, which have yet to receive a satisfactory response from authorities.
Dhammika S. Priyantha, Co-Chairman of the University Trade Union Joint Committee, highlighted that today marks the 22nd day of the strike, which has disrupted operations at all state universities and higher education institutions across Sri Lanka.
