The Ministry of Health has issued a warning about a fraudulent money collection scheme in which scammers are impersonating senior ministry officials. The organized group is reportedly targeting health staff and the general public, soliciting money through phone calls and WhatsApp messages.

In an official statement, the Ministry clarified that no health official would ever request funds via these channels and noted that any such requests are fraudulent.

The Ministry urged the public not to transfer money to unknown accounts or engage in financial transactions with individuals claiming to be affiliated with the ministry.

Authorities have already begun legal proceedings to address the scam, and the Ministry has encouraged anyone affected to report the incident to the relevant authorities.
