The National Democratic Front (NDF) failed once again on 20 November to reach a consensus on its remaining National List MP position.

Discussions were held today regarding the National List MP slots under the chairmanship of United National Party (UNP) leader Ranil Wickremesinghe. Following the gazetting of Ravi Karunanayake’s name by the Election Commission for one of the positions, a single slot remains unfilled.

None of the participants in today's discussions provided comments to the media.
