The Ministry of Education, Highe Education, and Vocational Education plans to review education reform programs introduced over the past five years.
Ministry Secretary Nalaka Kaluwewa said that while several proposals for educational reforms have been submitted by entities such as the National Institute of Education (NIE) and other committees, most have not progressed to the implementation stage.
The review aims to assess these proposals and align them with the policy framework of the current government. A new, comprehensive education reform proposal will then be developed, reflecting the government’s vision for the sector.
