United Party leader Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe stated that the party nominations will be finalized by tomorrow.

 

Wickremesinghe made this statement through his Twitter page a short while ago.

 

"UNP nominations will be finalised by tomorrow. We will be fielding a capable team to deliver a resounding victory" Wickremesinghe Tweeted.

 

The UNP has already started its campaign with a number of strong individuals being already confirmed as candidates. The campaign has been galvanized by many new faces and popular politicians who have already taken a lead in election propaganda.
