President Media Deputy Director Sunil Jayasekara has resigned from his post a short while ago, reports said.

 

According to the reports Jayasekara came up with the decision in protest against president Sirisena for giving nomination for former president Mahinda Rajapaksa.

 

UPFA General Secretary susil Premajayantha released a statement this evening saying that former president Mahinda Rajapaksa will be given nominations from the UPFA to contest the next general election.
