Uva Province Chief Minister Harin Fernando said President Maithripala Sirisena must be having some plan in awarding nominations for former President Mahinda Rajapaksa.

 

Posting several Tweets on his Twitter handle, Fernando warned the Rajapaksa faction that the higher you jump, the harder you come down. In his opinion, the Rajapaksa fans are in for a rude shock, Fernando added.

 

He also said that he will wait for 24 hours and observe the developments. However, if there was no change in the situation, he will stick to his stance and quit politics, Fernando said.

 

"I'm am not interested in politics anymore if MS can change people's verdict for personal benifit," Fernando said.
