National Freedom Front leader Wimal Weerawansa will launch his election campaign today with the opening of the NFF party office in Kaduwela Electorate.

The party office will be located in Hokandara.

Weerawansa was a key member who campaigned for the return of Mahinda Rajapaksa to politics. Following the granting of nominations to Rajapaksa from the UPFA, Weerawansa is also expected to contest from the alliance.

He has already announced that he will be contesting from Colombo District.
