The Tamil National Alliance is holding a meeting in Vavuniya to discuss the strategy and nominations with regard to the upcoming general election.

The meeting is presided by TNA leader R. Sampanthan. Several former MPs including Mavai Senadirajah, Suresh Premachandran, Selvan Adaikkalanathan and M.A. Sumanthiran are taking part in the meeting.

Furthermore, TNA Provincial Councilors of Northern and Eastern Provinces also take part in the meeting.
