The Tamil National Alliance expects to win 20 seats at the forthcoming general election, former Parliamentarian M.A. Sumanthiran said yesterday.

This was stated after the party meeting in Vavuniya to decide on strategy for parliamentary election.

The TNA decided to file nominations for all districts in the Northern and Eastern provinces on July 10.

Meanwhile, the TNA also decided not to allow nominations in this election for rehabilitated former cadres of the LTTE.
