Former Chairman of the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) today (16) revealed he would contest in upcoming General Election under the symbol of ‘water tap.
Addressing a media briefing, Ratnayake said he contests in the election from Arunalu Janatha Peramuna from Colombo District.
“Everyone is talking about a new Parliament. I’m more than suitable to be in that Parliament because I have nothing to gain personally from the politics. My record is clean and I think I can deliver what people want from a representative,” Ratnayake said.
