Former Krrish Group Executive Director Janaki Siriwardena has been arrested by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) in connection with an alleged Rs. 70 million bribe involving Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) MP Namal Rajapaksa.

According to CIABOC, Siriwardena is accused of handing over a total of Rs. 70 million to Rajapaksa on three separate occasions.

The arrest was made as part of CIABOC’s investigation into the alleged payments.
