Würth Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, a leader in Sri Lanka’s automotive aftermarket sector, has renewed its longstanding partnership with celebrated racing driver Ashan Silva, appointing him as Brand and Product Ambassador for 2025/26.

Ashan is one of Sri Lanka’s most accomplished racing figures, with numerous accolades at both local and international events. In 2024, he earned global recognition in the United Kingdom as the fastest Mini driver in the world. He also achieved an unbroken winning streak in every race he entered this year, including the Mahameruwa Rally Cross 1 and 2, and the Walawe Super Cross.

“We are delighted to renew our relationship with racing icon Ashan Silva as the Brand and Product Ambassador for the Würth range of products and solutions. His dedication to performance, precision, and power perfectly reflects Würth’s commitment to excellence. We wish him well in his future competitions,” said Suranga Kekuluwalage, Managing Director of Würth Lanka (Pvt) Ltd.

Ashan, who has been using Würth products since 2011, described them as “a champion’s choice” and credited their quality as a key factor in maintaining his vehicle’s peak performance. “Würth’s high-quality products have been crucial to my success on both Sri Lankan and international racing circuits. I am grateful to the Würth Lanka team for recognising my potential early in my career and continuing to support me. It is an honour to be re-appointed as brand ambassador for 2025/26,” he said.

Established in 1998, Würth Lanka (Pvt) Ltd is a fully owned subsidiary of Würth International AG, part of Adolf Würth GmbH, Germany. The Würth Group is a €20 billion enterprise and one of the largest international trading companies, with more than 400 subsidiaries in 80 countries and a workforce exceeding 87,000 employees worldwide — the largest direct sales force in the industry.
