Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ajith P. Perera stated that the United National Party does not have any agreement with the TNA.

 

Speaking at a press conference today, he said that the UNP was against a Federal system and will never even discuss on the matter. The UNP supports devolution of power, but only under a unitary system. The UNP will not compromise on the unitary state of the country, he elaborated.

 

Meanwhile, the National Freedom Front today accused of TNA having an agreement with the UNP and trying to form a coalition government through which it plans to achieve its goals.
