Sri Lanka Freedom Party stalwarts will take part in a special press conference this morning to respond to the letter sent to Mahinda Rajapaksa by President Maithripala Sirisena.

 

Many party seniors who were named as perspective Prime Ministers in President Maithripala Sirisena’s letter to Mahinda Rajapaksa will be present in today’s press conference, a spokesman of the SLFP told Asian Mirror.

 

UPFA party leaders will also take part in the press conference, Pivithuru Hela Urumaya leader Udaya Gammanpila told Asian Mirror.

 

UPFA General Secretary Susil Premajayantha said yesterday that the party seniors had already agreed to name Rajapaksa as Prime Minister when the UPFA wins the election.
