The Elections Commissioner said that there was no hurry to take a decision on the changes in the names of party secretaries at the moment.

 

Speaking at the special press conference today at the Elections Secretariat he said that his priority was counting votes.

 

He added that the status quo will prevail at the moment.

 

Deshapriya also said that there were no co-secretaries in political parties.
