Former Central Bank Governor Ajith Nivard Cabraal was summoned today to the police Financial Crimes Investigations Division, police said.

Cabraal was summoned to record a statement on an alleged financial fraud during the former government of Mahinda Rajapaksa.

The alleged fraud took place during the acquisition of a private company to the Urban Development Authority.
