Four army personnel who were being questioned by the CID in connection with the disappearance of journalist Prageeth Eknaligoda were arrested today, Police Media Spokesman ASP Ruwan Gunasekara said.

 

Accordingly, two lieutenant colonels, a staff sergeant and a corporal were arrested by the CID.

 

They are expected to be produced before the courts tomorrow. 

 

Eknaligoda disappeared on January 24, 2010, and the CID launched an investigation on the incident following the government change at the 2015 Presidential Election.
