The Maha Randoli Procession, the grandest event of the Kandy Esala Maha Perahara, takes place tonight.

The Esala Perahara program started this year on August 15 with the Kap planting of the four devalas. The first Kumbal Perahara was on August 20.

The events will end with the Day Procession on Sunday.
