Several activists staged a protest in front of UNICEF office in Chennai on the International Day of the Disappeared, demanding that those went missing during the civil war in Sri Lanka be traced, The Hindu said.

 

Members of Thamizhaga Vazhvurimai Katchi led by its leader T. Velmurugan and activists including Kolathur Mani and Thiagu were among those who raised slogans demanding that those who went missing in Sri Lanka during the war be traced, a release said.

 

They later handed over a representation to officials at the UNICEF, the release added.
