President Maithripala Sirisena said that legal action will be taken against those who misused state property.

 

Delivering the government's policy statement at the Parliament today, Sirisena said that anti-corruption drive will be a central part of his government's program.

 

Measures will be taken irrespective of party affiliations, he stressed.

 

Meanwhile Sirisena called for support for the new political culture which is being established at present.
