Former Uva Province Chief Minister Shasheendra Rajapaksa was summoned by the Presidential Commission of Inquiry into Large Scale Corruption (PCoI) with regard to an alleged distribution of state owned lands in Mahiyanganaya, incurring a loss to the government.

He is currently being questioned by the Commission.

Rajapaksa was the Chief Minister of Uva Province from 2009 to January 2015.
