The result of the official bowling test of Tharindu Kaushal will be notified to the Sri Lanka Cricket by the International Cricket Council within two weeks, SLC said in a statement.

SLC said that Kaushal successfully completed his test at the accredited ICC testing centre in Chennai yesterday.

Kaushal was accompanied by National Spin Bowling Coach Piyal Wijetunge and Head of Coaching and Interim Head Coach Jerome Jayaratne.

Kaushal was tested for both his variation deliveries which is the off spinner and the doosra, though he was only reported for the ‘Doosra’ delivery. However the ICC reserves the right to test all varieties of a bowler once reported, SLC said.
