Six people including five women and a child have been confirmed dead in the landslide which occurred in Kotmale yesterday.

Residents and the army are searching for another child who is still missing.

Meanwhile, Disaster Management Centre said that seven houses have been completely destroyed in the landslide. Two other houses are partially destroyed.

Furthermore, 188 people of 45 families have been evacuated to the Ramboda Hindu College following the landslide.
