Veteran actor Jayalal Rohana has passed away this evening at the Ragama Hospital.

He was 56 at the time of his demise. The exact reason for his demise is yet to be announced.

Rohana is a versatile actor who has demonstrated his talents in a number of popular teledramas and critically-acclaimed stageplays.

He is also a well-known teacher who inspired a generation of students.
