Sri Lankan rap artist Shiraz AKA Rude bwoy passed away due to a sudden heart attack last night during the people’s protest at Galle Face last night.

He was singing Bob Marley’s “Get up - stand up” minutes before he collapsed due to the heart attack.

He was 52 years old at the time of his demise. He is also considered the first rap artist in Sri Lanka.
