The riot police employed water cannons to disperse a protest organized by the women's wing of the National People's Power (NPP) near the Parliament Roundabout.

The demonstration, which took place this morning (04), was orchestrated to voice concerns over the escalating cost of living, the burdensome tax structure, and various other issues affecting the country.

The protesters, aligned with the NPP, sought to march towards the Parliament along Parliament Road when the clash with law enforcement occurred. In response to the protesters' attempt to advance, riot police utilized water cannons to disperse the crowd.
