The proposed amendments to the controversial Online Safety At are set to be presented to the Cabinet for approval.

Top government sources disclosed this development, shedding light on the intense pressure exerted by tech industry giants and the international community, prompting swift action to revise the legislation mere days after its enforcement.

The Online Safety Act, aimed at regulating online content and ensuring a safer digital environment, faced immediate scrutiny from prominent tech companies including Google, Yahoo, Amazon, and Meta.
