Eight Bangladeshis have been arrested for violating visa conditions while staying in Sri Lanka.

The Police said the arrests took place last evening at a hotel in the Andiambalama area, Katunayake, following a tip-off received through the Police Emergency Hotline 119.

The arrested individuals, aged between 20 and 30 years, were taken into custody by officials from the Katunayake Police and the Immigration Department.
