Badulla District Parliamentarian Dilan Perera has been appointed as Sri Lanka Freedom Party Media Spokesman.

Perera told Asian Mirror that he was appointed today after the Central Working Committee took the decision yesterday.

He also said that he hopes to inform of party decisions correctly to the country with no censorship.

A veteran politician from the SLFP, Perera first entered the parliament in 1994 from the Badulla District.
