Galle Magistrate issued an order preventing former Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa, ex-Navy Chief Somathilake Dissanayake and two others from travelling abroad, regarding the Avant Garde ‘floating armory’ investigations.

Speaking to ‘Asian Mirror’, Minister of Public Order, Disaster Management and Christian Affairs John Amaratunga confirmed this a short while ago.

The other two people who were prevented from foreign trips are Manjula Kumara Yapa and Karunaratne Banda Adikari Egodawelage.

Police sources said that the order came to effect at 10.33am today (09).
