UPFA MP Sajin de Vass Gunawardena was summoned to the Police Financial Fraud Investigation Division a short while ago.

Police Media Unit told ‘Asian Mirror’ that he was told to be present by 9 a.m. today.

Police Media Unit further said that he was being questioned for not paying leasing payments for 33 vehicles he purchased.

This comes just days after Gunawardena was questioned by the Bribery Commission.

Meanwhile the Financial Fraud Investigation Division questioned the former Chairman of People’s Leasing and Finance Gamini Senarath just two days ago.
