Prime Minister of Bhutan Tshering Tobgay left the island this morning after the completion of a successful official visit.
Tobgay arrived on April 9 and met with President Maithripala Sirisena and other officials of the government. He also visited Kelani Rajamaha Viharaya. On Saturday he visited Anuradhapura and worshipped the Sri Maha Bodhi.
Chief Prelate of the Atamasthana Dr. Pallegama Sirinivasa Thera presented Tobgay with a sapling of the Sacred Bodhi Tree.
Tobgay paid his last respect to the Chief Prelate of the Asgiriya Chapter Udugama Sri Buddharakkitha Thera last evening.
