Former Economic Development Minister Basil Rajapaksa arrived at the Financial Crimes Investigations Division at 11.00am to give a statement on Divi Neguma and Samurdhi Funds.

Rajapaksa, who left the island on January 11, returned on Tuesday afternoon. Upon his return, he said that he was ready to support any investigation against him.

Police FCID is conducting investigations on the alleged financial irregularities in the Divi Neguma Department during the former regime of Mahinda Rajapaksa.
