A group of protestors who gathered around Bribery Commission marched towards Welikada Prison after leaving Bauddhaloka Mawatha.

Former defence secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa also arrived at Welikada Prison and went inside, presumably to meet his brother Basil Rajapaksa.

Protestors who accompanied Gotabaya Rajapaksa dispered after he went inside the prison, a participant of the protest told Asian Mirror.
